Lang Hoang Gia Mausoleum (1825 onward)

The Lang Hoang Gia (Royal Mausoleum) is the final resting place of Pham Dang Hung, the grandfather of Emperor Tu Duc of the Nguyen dynasty. It is situated on a flood plain about forty-two kilometers south of Ha Chi Minh City in the village of Go Cong. At present, the tomb is relatively unknown despite its stylistic similarity to the royal tombs in Hue--in fact, it is quite possible that the same artisans worked at both locations.

Location

The approximate location of the mausoleum is 10.383124' N, 106.679714' E (WGS 84 map datum).
