Wat Chom Sawan (built 1910-12 onward)
Wat Chom Sawan is a multi-tiered wooden temple built by Shan workers in the early 20th century. It is notable for the decorative use of tin stencil on the coffered ceilings and interior columns. Many Shan migrated to the area in the late 19th and early 20th century as loggers who harvested teak under the supervision of British merchants.
