Ban Wongburi (built 1906-09)
Ban Wongburi is the former residence of the Chao Muang named Ban Wongburi. It was constructed from 1906-1909 by the daughter of Phraya Wongburi in Colonial Gingerbread style. This style developed from Thai contact with British teak merchants. Much of the actual construction work was carried out by Chinese artisans from Canton.
