Wat Si Kom Kham (indefinite age)
Wat Si Kom Kham is located in the northwest area of Phayao city near lake Kwan Phayao. The wat is locally known as "Wat Phrachao Ton Luang" after the large Buddha image in the Chiang Saen style housed in the modern viharn. The small ubosot to the south of the viharn is notable for its artful depiction of Kala, a creature symbolizing time who is shown in the process of devouring itself.
According to the author's GPS, Wat Si Kom Kham lies at approximately 19 10.58332' north, 99 53.39800' east (WGS84 map datum).
