Martyrs' Shrine

Located a short distance east of the Grand Hotel is the Martyrs' Shrine (Chunglie Tzu, or Zhong Lie Ci), built in Ming dynasty style to commemorate those who died in China's wars over the centuries. The formal changing of the guard attracts an interesting crowd of onlookers.
