The former Hong Kong and Shanghai
Banking Corporation Building, 1921-1923. The interior is elegant; recently
uncovered is a fascinating mosaic ceiling that had been boarded up when
it served as the seat of the Shanghai government. It now is the Pudong
Dvelopment Bank.
