The Peace Hotel (center) the former
"Sassoon Mansion" and later the Cathay Hotel, erected in 1926-1929.
On the right is the Bank of China Building, Shanghai Branch.
Formerly the Bank of China, it was built 1936- 1937 on the site of the
old German Concordia Club. On the left is the South Building of the
Peace Hotel, formerly the Palace Hotel, built in 1906.
