A living memorial, Choeung Ek's grassy fields mark the site of the "Genocidal Center" (or "Killing Fields" from film) where tens of thousands lost their lives. A number of mass graves have been uncovered, but many have not. It is about ten miles from the center of Phnom Pehn.
