Yecheon Gamnoru is a shrine constructed near the grave site of Bak Jongrin, the first settler of the Hamyang Bak clan in Yecheon. Built in the early 1600s, the shrine has been used for centuries as a gathering place for the disperate members of the Hamyang Bak clan to pay homage each year to their founding ancestor and to conduct sacrificial rites.
According to GPS readings taken on-site by the author, the site is at 36 42.82898 degrees north, 128 23.44009 degrees east (WGS 84 map datum). Note that most Korean GPS atlases are calibrated based on an older datum (known as the Tokyo datum) so the above coordinates will be off by a few hundred meters using Korean atlases unless you convert WGS84 coordinates to the Tokyo datum.
