Suunjeong Pavilion - 수운정 (水雲亭) (built 1582 onward)
This pavilion was constructed in 1582 by Son Yeop, a great-grandson of Son Chungdon. Son Yeop named it Suunjeong from a verse that says "clear as water and evanescent as clouds".
It is a six-'kan'structure ('kan' is a traditional unit of measure referring to the space between two columns) with an 'ondol' (heated floor) room and a wood-floored hall. The roof is hipped and gabled.
Located on a hill outside the boundary of the village, it commands a fine view of the Angang plain. It is said that a portrait of King Taejo (r. 1392-98), the founder of the Joseon dynasty, was sheltered here during the Japanese invasions of 1592-98.
