Deokyangjeon Shrine - 덕양전 (德讓殿) (1793 onward)

This jeongak (pavilion) enshrines the mortuary tablets of King Guhyeong, the last king of Geumgwan Gaya, whose reputed tomb is located a few hundred meters to the south. It was established in 1793 following the discovery of a wooden case handed down over many generations which contained portraits of King Guhyeong and his queen. Deokyangjeon was built to enshrine these portraits and also to serve as a proper location to offer sacrifices each spring and autumn. The present buildings were originally constructed at another location but were moved here in 1930.
