Yeongnamnu - 영남루 (嶺南樓) (built 1365, rebuilt 1844)
Yeongnamnu is a pleasure pavilion attached to the Milju-gwan, in which visitors to the area were given lodgings. It was originally constructed by Gim Ju, the governor of Miryang, on the site of Yeongnam temple in 1365. After many frequent reconstructions, the present pavilion was rebuilt in 1844. The name of the pavilion on the hanging board was written by Ha Dongju (pen name: Seongpa), a noted calligrapher at the end of the Joseon period.
