Banghaejeong Pavilion - 방해정 (放海亭) (built 1859 onward)
This pavilion was constructed by the retired official Yi Bonggu in 1859 on the site of Inwolsa, an ancient temple of the Three Kingdoms period (57 B.C.-A.D. 668). It is said that Yi demolished part of a government guest house to use the timbers for the pavilion. The L-shaped structure with a hipped-and-gabled roof has ondol (heated floor) rooms and a kitchen. It was renovated in 1940 Yi Geunu, a descendant of Yi Bonggu, and renovated again in 1975.
