Sig-yeongjeong Pavilion - 식영정, 전남 담양군 (built c. 1520 onward)

This is the pavilion which Kim Seongwon, whose pen name is Seohadang, built for his father-in-law, Seokcheon Im Eog-ryeong.

Kim Seongwon, who was an uncle of Songgang Jeong Che-ol's wife and was 11 years older than Songgang, studied with him in Hwanbyeokdang Pavilion. In Sigyeong Pavilion he also associated with Go Gyeongmyeong, Baek Gwanghun, Song Ikpil, and composed 28 verses titled "Dongun". In "Seongsanbyeolgok", Kim wrote about the beautiful scenery visible from this pavilion.
