May Day, or Rungnado Stadium
The Rungnado stadium is situated on Rungna Islet in the Taedong river. It is designed to hold 150,000 visitors and is said to resemble either a flower or a dropped parachute. This was the venue where Madeline Albright, Secretary of State under Bill Clinton, was feted during her official visit in 1999.
