Matsumoto House - 松本家住宅 (built 19th century)

The Matsumoto house is a well-preserved, publically accessable merchant home on the south side of Takayama. An unusual feature of the house is the Chashitsu (Tea Room) on the upper floor of the house. Visitors should note that the home is only open on Saturdays.
