This pavilion was constructed by the retured official Yi Bonggu in 1859 on the site of Inwolsa, an ancient temple of the Three Kingdoms period (57 B.C.-A.D. 668). It is said that Yi demolished part of a government guest house to use the timbers for the pavilion. The L-shaped structure with a hipped-and-gabled roof has ondol (heated floor) rooms and a kitchen. It was renovated in 1940 Yi Geunu, a descendant of Yi Bonggu, and in 1975.

(Designated Gangwondo Tangible Cultural Property #50).
