Xiaozai House (built 1889)
The Xiaozai house was built in 1889 during the latter years of the Qing dynasty. Its style is typical of many houses south of Yangtze river. The residence was built by an official in the Qing dynasty and was tranferred later to the Xiao family. During the 20th century, the Xiao family's most famous offspring was Xiao Fangfang, a movie actress in Hong Kong. The residence contains an exhibition hall of her achievements in film over the past 50 years.
