Baosheng temple was reportedly built in 503, the second year of the reign of the Liang dynasty emperor Tianjian. The temple is notable for its arhat scuptures inside the Arhat hall, which are attributed to the Tang dynasty sculptor Yang Huizhi. Also on the grounds are three unique trees and the tomb of Lu Guimeng, a Tang dynasty poet.
