Choeng Ek 'Killing Fields' (late 1970s)

A living memorial, Choeng Ek's grassy fields mark the site of the 'Genocidal Center' (or 'Killing Fields' from film) where tens of thousands lost their lives. A number of mass graves have been uncovered, but many have not. It is about ten miles from the center of Phnom Pehn.
