Pavilion of Imperial Landscape above the Hill of Collecting Excellence. The artificial hill was built on April 17, 1583 after the dismantling of the Hall of Looking at Flowers, which used to stand here. Each year on the Double Ninth Festival (the 9th day of the 9th lunar month) the emperor, empress, and concubines ascended this pavilion to enjoy the view.
