In our imaginations, we can complete the myth by imagining that the body of Shesha is wrapped around the Bayon temple at the center of Angkor Thom. As the gods pull and the asuras push (and vice versa), the 'Cosmic Ocean' of Hindu mythology is milked, forming the earth.
